Request a Certificate of Title
Why do I need a copy of Title with my planning application?
You need to provide a copy of the Title with your application to confirm:
- Ownership details
- Location and dimensions of the land
- Any restrictions that may affect what can be developed on the land.
Your copy of the Title must be dated no more than 90 days old. This ensures Council has an up-to-date copy that includes any recent changes.
Where can I get a copy of my title and how do I get it?
You can request a current Certificate of Title by following the steps below. (Note: Fees apply)
Step 1
The first step in the process is to click the link and head to the LANDATA website.
Step 2
Go to register at the top right of the page, complete your details and click register
Step 3
Select Titles & Property certificates (listed under the heading title & property information)
Step 4
Enter the address and confirm property details
Step 5
Select certificates page, you will need to select the first document Crown Folio Statement (Copy of title).
Step 6
Select next and follow the payment prompts. The receipt and documents will be sent to you on separate emails.
