Whose Road Is It?

Council is responsible for the majority of the roads within the municipality. These are known as local roads and are listed on Council's public Road Registry(PDF, 2MB)  and Ancillary Roads Register.(PDF, 421KB)

The footpaths Council maintains are shown in the Footpath Register(PDF, 623KB).

VicRoads manages the arterial or declared roads including:

  • Wimmera Highway
  • Henty Highway
  • Western Highway
  • Northern Grampians Road
  • Blue Ribbon Road (Horsham Kalkee Road)
  • Horsham Drung South Road
  • Horsham Noradjuha Road
  • Horsham Minyip Road
  • Natimuk Hamilton Road
  • Natimuk Frances Road
  • Wombelano Road

Requests for the removal of trees, repairs or maintenance on these roads should be directed via VicRoads website or telephone 131 170.
