Horsham Rural City Council is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing approximately 1,059 kms of sealed roads and 1,830 kms of unsealed roads throughout the municipality

All proposed works within the road reserve require a permit to be taken out. These include Vehicle Crossing Construction, Occupation of Road and Footpath, Road Openings, Hoardings and Overhead Awnings and Development and Planting within Road Reserve
Council is responsible for the majority of the roads within the municipality. Arterial roads and highways are maintained by VicRoads
