Sawyer Park - Soundshell

This is a lovely place to unwind on the river frontage, watch the bird life and relax. Lush green area with barbeque's and picnic table areas. Natural and structured shade with parking available on the north side in Hocking Street or on the south side of park on river. Public toilets are situated within parking area directly on river. The Soundshell at one end of the park is the location for concerts and celebrations throughout the year. The area also features a moving tribute to the returned serviceman and women.

We encourage this space to be actively shared and respectively enjoyed.

Casual Bookings for Reserves and Facilities

Council uses the IMS Reserve Manager program to log and manage casual bookings for all sports grounds, reserves and facilities.

Casual users are required to register and create an account to make a booking. The Reserves Manager – Guide for Casual Hires(PDF, 330KB) outlines the process and functionality of the program for casual hirers.
