Volunteering for Council

At Horsham Rural City Council Volunteers are involved in the following services:

The Horsham Town Hall

The Horsham Regional Art Gallery

Multiple Birth Support Program.

The Multiple Birth Support Program

Do you love babies? Would you enjoy helping and supporting local families to look after their twins, triplets or more? We need your help!

The Horsham Rural City Council and Maternal Child Health Nurse Centre recruits, trains and coordinates local people to help multiple birth families in their homes, primarily when their multiples are new born babies.

Volunteers will offer practical hands-on help to assist and support parents with their babies/children. Support to the Multiple Birth families is flexible and could be for a few hours a week, fortnight or whatever is convenient to you.

Training and ongoing support is available after registration.

Horsham Town Hall and Regional Art Gallery

We welcome anyone over the age of 15 to volunteer at the Horsham Town Hall and Regional Art Gallery.

As a volunteer you can learn new skills and meet new people, have fun and become a valued member of the Town Hall and Gallery team.

There are a variety of roles including ushering for theatre events, helping with children’s art club and helping with special events.

Training and ongoing support is available after registration.
