What's on at the library this November?
Wimmera Libraries have a wide range of events coming up this November catering to several ages and interests.
A Big Blue Boat Storytime with visiting author Susea Spray – Saturday 16 November, 10.30am – 12noon at the Horsham Library
Using maps and vivid imagery, Susea will take you and your children on a sailing journey to explore rare and extinct animas, ocean life, and remote islands.
Susea will read the story, A Big Blue Boat, while teaching fun actions and parts of a boat, and everyone is encouraged to join in!
Afterward, children will get creative by making their own boats.

Tabletop Trials with Nurcuong Board Game Group – Saturday 23 November, 9.30am – 1pm
Join the Horsham Library and Nurcuong Board Games Group for Tabletop Trials, where board game enthusiasts of all ages are invited to learn, play, and connect.
The dedicated Nurcuong Board Games Group will be on hand to teach the rules and strategies for a variety of games, from modern classics to hidden gems.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, you’ll have the chance to improve your skills and enjoy some friendly competition.

Super Sonic Storytime – Every Friday at 10.30am
Books, songs and games around a ‘sound of the week’ for preschoolers.
Super Sonic Storytime has been specifically designed bearing in mind that the next step after preschool is prep! So, the program aims to help prepare your child for that transition, and for you to pick up helpful ideas to support them when they bring home readers.
