Aquatic Centre change rooms construction continues

Horsham Aquatic Centre visitors will soon have four new change rooms at their disposal.

The change rooms are currently under construction at the Centre

“Plazzer Builders are currently about a week ahead of schedule and have mostly installed the structural steel and framework,” Project Manager Daniel Fischer said.

“We are currently expecting works to be complete by mid-July.”

The three family change rooms and one accessible change room will be located in the north-west corner of the indoor pool, providing entry and exit points for both the indoor and outdoor facilities.

“This project will provide an all-accessible change room, a family change room accessible from the inside, two family change rooms accessible from the outside and an outdoor function area that includes access to a public barbecue, water fountain and kitchenette.”

The project has been developed to ensure people of all ages and ability have access to the Centre, with enough space in one of the change rooms for those who require wheelchair access and carer assistance.
