Business Enhancement Support Program
The Business Enhancement Support Program was established to provide funding support to existing businesses in the Horsham Rural City Council. This grant opportunity opens on Monday 1 July.
Eligibility
To be eligible for funding the applicant must:
- Have an Australian Business Number (ABN) or be auspiced by an incorporated organisation with an ABN be located within the Horsham Rural City municipality if successful, claim the grant and complete the project or activity by 31 December 2024
- Use suppliers within the Horsham Rural City municipality wherever possible
- NOT be employed by Horsham Rural City Council
- NOT have received funding for the same activity through any other Council Grants Program in 2023/24
- NOT apply for any retrospective purchases or projects that commenced prior to the funding being awarded
The funding program supports business innovation, operational improvements, marketing strategies, accessibility, inclusiveness, and business growth.
Examples of this could be:
- Improved online presence
- Infrastructure / equipment upgrades
- Signage, business fronts, including costs associated with heritage consideration
- Upgrade of online promotional images
- Developing the business through marketing and communications activities
- Accessibility and Inclusion upgrades

$20,000 is available with grants up to $1,000 ex GST per business and does not need to be supported by matching funding.
Funding could be to deliver the full project or part of the project.
The funding stream will close when the allocation has been expended.
Project to be fully completed by 31 December 2024.
Priority will be given to those who haven’t received this stream of funding previously.
