The Kalkee Road Children’s and Community Hub is a children’s facility including kindergarten, childcare, Maternal and Child Health, supported playgroup, early intervention services and visiting specialist consulting rooms. The proposed new 1,120 (approx) square metre facility will be constructed on a green field site providing a central community hub that combines a range of education, health, care, support and community services.

Information on the formal planning processes:

Council is undertaking two separate planning processes. The planning permit application will allow the construction of the Children’s and Community Hub. A re-zoning application will ensure that the land can be used for the Children’s Hub, as identified in the Early Years Plan.
