Horsham Rural City Council is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing approximately 1,059 kms of sealed roads and 1,830 kms of unsealed roads throughout the municipality.

We are committed to improving and maintaining the condition of our roads, footpaths, cycle routes, drainage and parks through a program of scheduled upgrades.

In the road reserve of a Public Road where Council is the Responsible Road Authority, Council is responsible for the management of assets such as road pavements; kerb & channel; road shoulders; pathways; bridges; retaining walls; traffic management infrastructure such as roundabouts and speed humps; signs; pavement markings; and street furniture such as bollards, seating and bicycle racks.
